MATH TRAIL

Last few weeks during the learning festival,we went on a math trail. It started of at about 8am after our usual silent reading on fridays. Before we set of to changi airport Terminal 3 we were given a bread and a bottle of drink, after that a person gave us a briefing on what to do and what not to do at terminal 3.The person then sadly told us that we were not be able to buy outside food and drinks, then everyone was not happy to hear what she told us.

After the briefing we sat of on our journey.At the bus,the facilitators assign us our groups, and in my group was, me,othman and khairul. After a few minutes of waiting in the bus,we reached the airport.I was so happy to see terminal 3 for the first time! I had never been to changi airport before as my parents had never took me overseas by taking a plane.We then lined up infront of the bus and then went in the airport. We then reached our first station,which i forgot wat the name of the station was,we counted the steps of out feet to find the area of a figure which I had forgotten what is was. Then after we found the awnser we procceed of to the next station and we were seperated from the girls since another facilitator took them

We then reached the next station and that was about counting foreign money and the names of the money in their countries, we then again counted and got the awnser and went down to another station, the station was about measuring the circumfrance of the circular table at Kopitiam. Well beside Kopitiam was Popeye and everyone was hoping to buy Popeye so someone asked our Facilitator if we can buy Popeye and the Facilitator said if we finish early he'll ask our form teacher Mr Ang if we can buy it.

In the meantime while waiting for the math trail to end because of food we ate the bread for awhile and took a break and proceed of to the next station at a fountain. At that station we played,we laughed,we smiled and fool around.Well we did do the question but I had no idea what the facilitator was talking about as i was'nt concentrating.Then after that station we went to the other one which was about airplanes. I was shocked to see that airplanes are bigger than what I always imagined it to be. Then at that station Khairul gave me two Ricola, and then another person asked him for one.

The last station was at the exit or entrance which was kind of empty and still looks nice.At the last station i guess only some of us listened what the facilitators said,while the others waited for it to end.As the time passed by it was over and the facilitator asked Mr Ang if we could buy food and he said only Mc Donalds as it was almost time to go back to Greenview. Well we were kind of dissapointed not to eat Popeyes but Mc Donalds was good enough as we at least get to eat something. AT mac donalds I ought a filet O fish and a cup of hot chocolate and by then it was time for us to go home. I had really enjoyable time during the Math Trail and hope there would be more this year!
